All-GWAC Baseball and Softball teams announced

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The 2018 All-GWAC selections have recently been announced for baseball and softball in the Great West Activities Conference.

Starting with baseball, Holcomb had the most selections with seven, followed by Colby and Goodland with five and Hugoton and Ulysses had four selections, while Scott City had three. Colby and Holcomb tied for the GWAC title, and no teams made it to state this year.

For Softball, Holcomb had seven selections, while Scott City had five selections, Colby, Goodland and Ulysses had four selections and Hugoton had three. Scott City won the GWAC title for the first time, while Colby, Holcomb, Hugoton and Ulysses were in a four-way tie for second. No teams qualified for state this year.
