Lee Richardson Zoo

“A Wild Affair,” Lee Richardson Zoo’s wildest and most prosperous “Fun-Raiser” of the year is Saturday, September 7, 2019. This exceptional evening takes place under the stars of the Zoo’s West Green and features live music by Mike Benish and the Buckner Creek Band, as well as special appearances by zoo animal ambassadors. Enjoy a roaring good time while you and friends sip on a variety of adult beverages while sampling delicious foods from some of the region’s best restaurants and caterers. Bid on hundreds of unique items in the live and silent auctions, all to benefit improvements at Lee Richardson Zoo.

Lee Richardson Zoo will be closed during regular zoo hours September 7 to prepare for the festivities. The southwest gate will reopen at 6 p.m. for the event. Food served until 8 p.m. Tickets are all-inclusive and just $40 per person or $50 each after Labor Day. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the event. Guests must be 21 to enter. Purchase tickets at Lee Richardson Zoo, Blue Fox Boutique, and Ward’s Garden Center, online at www.folrz.org., or on the Friends Facebook “A Wild Affair” event page.
