GCHS Band Students Qualify For Honor Jazz Band
Garden City High School band students will be performing at the 2019 SWKMEA Honor District Jazz Band on November 9, 2019, in Dodge City. The Southwest District of the Kansas Music Educators Association just recently completed auditions for the band.
The GCHS students that will be performing include: Rodolfo Lozano, alto saxophone; Reid Hopkins, tenor saxophone; Cesar Perez, baritone saxophone; Orion Craig, trombone; Enia Martinez, trumpet; and Sergio Rodriguez, trumpet.
Alondra Garcia, trumpet, is an alternate.
The GCHS band director is Lyle Sobba; assistant director is Makenzi Johnson.
