Colby golf takes top spot at Scott City Invitational

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On one of the nicest days this spring, the Colby golf team would take the top spot at the Scott City Invitational Friday afternoon at the Scott Community Golf Course.

The Eagles would win by 30 shots as a team over Scott City and Oakley. While Scott City and Oakley would tie, the Beavers ended up winning the tiebreaker. Oakley’s Ian Fink won the meet with a score of 76, and Tucker Metcalf from Ulysses earned the second place position with an 18-hole score of 81.
