Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City golf team made their way to Goodland on Tuesday for the Goodland Invitational held at Sugar Hills Golf Club.
It would be one of the toughest meets of the year, as the Beavers would finish eighth as a team. TMP Marian won the meet with a team score of 364, followed by Atwood at 366 and Colby was third with a score of 369. Scott City shot a score of 406.
Kale Wheeler was the team high for Scott City, shooting an 18-hole round of 86, while Jaden Lewis was 19th with a score of 94, Dylan Metzger was 54th shooting a 110 and Conner Armendariz was 58th with a round of 116.
Scott City will have time off before they host their own meet on Friday, April 23.
