Traffic to shift to new U.S. 54 alignment in Seward County

Traffic will shift to the newly constructed U.S. 54 alignment in Seward County on Friday, Aug. 6, according to the Kansas Department of Transportation.  Larry Meyer, Construction Manager, said the shift will allow for construction of the new westbound lanes.

 

Koss Construction of Topeka is the contractor on this $27.6 million project, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
