One Dead After Single Vehicle Accident In Kearny County
Kearny County, Ks (westernkansasnews) One person is dead after a single vehicle accident in Kearny County.
The accident occurred just after 12:00 p.m. on 2460 Road 250, or approximately 7 miles Northeast of Deerfield, Ks.
According to a statement from the Kearny County Sheriff’s office, officers were dispatched to County Road X for a single vehicle accident.
Deputies located a single occupant identified as Joseph Earl Seeger-Guebara. Seeger-Guebara was driving a 1978 Jeep CJ-5 eastbound on Road 130. Seeger-Guebara entered the Eastbound ditch for an unknown reason. Seeger-Guebara over-corrected the vehicle re-entering the roadway causing the jeep to roll an unknown number of times. The jeep came to a rest in the Westbound ditch.
Seeger-Guebara was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was ejected from the vehicle. Seeger-Guebara was transported to the Kearny County Hospital by EMS where he later died from his injuries.
