Area athletes ranked in latest KWCA rankings

Garden City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–As the teams enter their final tournaments of the month, several area schools and individuals find themselves among the top 10 in their classification. 

In Class 6A, Garden City remains at No. 1 and Dodge City is sixth. The Buffaloes have eight ranked and the Red Demons have six individuals ranked in 6A. In Class 4A, Scott City is not ranked among the top 10, but do have three wrestlers ranked in their classification, while Ulysses has one wrestler ranked. Wichita County has two wrestlers currently ranked in Class 3-2-1A.

On the girls side, Dodge City enters at No. 3, with six ranked wrestlers and Garden City has five ranked wrestlers, an comes in at No. 6 in Class 6-5A. In Class 4-1A, Lakin remains in the top five at fourth with two ranked wrestlers, and Scott City has one ranked wrestler.
