GARDEN CITY, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – Garden City High School will host a student job opportunity fair later this month to help meet the county’s workforce needs and educate young people about local available jobs. The school is hosting this event to promote all opportunities available to the graduating Seniors as well as summer and part-time opportunities for underclassmen.
Opportunities include seasonal, part-time, and full-time jobs, college, tech programs, apprenticeships, training programs, military service, and volunteer work. If your business/organization has any of these opportunities available to students, please consider attending this event.
The fair will run from 8:45 to 11:00 a.m. on April 26 at the GCHS competition gym and doubles as a recruiting event for area employers in need of summer help from students. Interested employers should submit online registration at https://forms.gle/ww1kYYrCZhchpRpG8 by April 18. Employers will be able to begin setting up at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the event.
