Scott City golf wins home invitational

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City golf team was able to defend their home course, and pick up the Scott City Invitational Tournament title on Thursday at the Scott City Municipal golf course. As a team, the Beavers had a four-player round of 340, 10 shots better than runner-up Colby.

Jackson Rumford would be the individual champion, shooting a round of 79, while Tucker Metcalf of Ulysses was second with a score of 80, and Kale Wheeler was fourth with an 83.
