Colorado man injured in Thomas County crash
Thomas County, Kan (WesternKansasNews.Com) – One man is in serious condition after a single vehicle accident yesterday in Thomas County. The crash happened around 10:15 AM on U-283 1 mile north of AA road.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 1996 Chevy 1500 driven by Jaden Spencer, 23, Limon Co, was northbound on U283 when, for an unknown reason, it left the road to the left and entered the west ditch. The Chevy then re-entered the roadway, spun counter clockwise, entered the west ditch and overturned. The vehicle came to a stop on the passenger side.
Spencer was transported to Hays Medical Center with serious injuries. Spencer was not wearing a safety restraint according to the KHP.
