Colby wins Scott City Invitational title

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–On a day that was drizzly and in the mid 50’s several area teams made their way to Scott City on Thursday for the Scott City Invitational at the Scott Community Golf Course. 

Colby would win the meet, shooting a team score of 366, nearly 40 shots better than runner-up Cimarron. Goodland was third and Scott City finished in fourth place.

Among the area top 10 finishers, Lakin’s Alli Mead finished in a tie for second place. Cimarron had three in the top 10, as saw Jade Loewen finish 6th, Kennedy Jarnagin tied for seventh, and Anna Cofer & Alexis Toothaker tied for ninth. Scott City saw Emma Wheeler finish in 13th and Shelby Lisenby tie for 15th.
