Scott City man arrested on arrest warrant

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Scott City Police have arrested a man after he received an arrest warrant.

On January 3rd at 3:04 am, the Scott City Police department responded to the 400 block of West 6th Street for a domestic disturbance. The suspect in the incident fled the scene prior to Officers arriving, and the suspect was identified as 39-year-old Kirstofor Lauber of Scott City.

After an investigation, Officers requested an arrest warrant from the Scott County Attorney’s Office.

On January 11, Officers with the SCPD and Scott County Sheriff’s Office Deputies went to an address to arrest Lauber after receiving the arrest warrant. An Officer located the suspect driving near the address and performed a traffic stop with assistance from the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.

Lauber was arrested for Felony Criminal Damage, two counts of Domestic Battery, Illegal Registration, Driving While Suspended and was transported to Scott County Jail.
