Scott City man arrested on Oklahoma warrant

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Scott City man was arrested at the Law Enforcement Center in Scott City after an arrest warrant was issued from Oklahoma.

Over the last several months the Scott City Police Department has been assisting the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation on an investigation in Oklahoma. On Thursday, Officers with the Scott City Police Department assisted Special Agents from the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation executing an arrest warrant.
 
Just after noon, 22-year-old Kevin Adalberto Rodriguez-Ruiz was arrested at the Law Enforcement Center. Rodriguez-Ruiz was arrested for an Oklahoma arrest warrant for: Rape and three counts of lewd or indecent acts to a child under the age of 16.
 
Rodriguez-Ruiz was placed in the custody of the Scott County Jail and will be awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
