Adigun resigns as head coach for Lady Eagles

Hugoton, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–After six seasons, Emmanuel Adigun has stepped down as the head basketball coach for the Hugoton Lady Eagles.

Adigun had a good run over his six seasons, taking Hugoton to four state tournaments, including a third place finish in Class 4A in 2023. The Lady Eagles were also third place in 2018 in Class 4A, Division II, third place in 2021 in Class 3A, and the Class 3A State Runner-up in 2022.

Adigun’s record over six years was 104-39, and finished 19-6 in the 2022-23 season, where they started out 4-5 in their first nine games. 

Long time assistant Jeff Ramsey also resigned as assistant coach of the Lady Eagles on Monday night.
