Scott City woman killed in Greeley County accident

Greeley County, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–A Scott City woman was killed early Monday morning in a single vehicle accident, .2 miles east of Kansas Highway 27, or on the east edge of the Tribune city limits.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2003 Pontiac Montana driven by 60-year-old Mary Alice Murray of Scott City was westbound on Kansas Highway 96, when she left the roadway on the west side and rotated in a clockwise manner. The vehicle came to rest in the ditch of K96 facing northeast. Murray was ejected from the vehicle. 

She was transported to Greeley County Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Murray was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the KHP report.
