Myers resigns as Scott City softball coach

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–Prior to her arrival in 2015, Scott City softball had little success in program history. They had just one regional final appearance in 2011, and no state berths.

After nine seasons, Erin Myers has resigned as Lady Beaver softball coach, as she will be leaving Scott City to become a physical education teacher in the Augusta school district.

In her nine seasons, including the 2020 covid year, Myers was 116-52. They had just two sub-.500 seasons, with four regional finals appearances and two state tournament berths. Their back to back 20-win seasons in 2021 and 2022 were the only times Scott City hit the 20-win mark.
