Garden City Standoff Ends Peacefully
(westernkansasnews.com) Garden City, KS–Early Monday morning after 3am, police officers responded to a call at 402 Davis Street of a woman holding a knife to her nine month olds throat and making threats. The standoff ended peacefully with officers able to take the knife away from 25 year old Ashley Perez of Colorado Springs without further incident. Perez is in the Finney County jail on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and endangering a child.
Garden City, KS–Police have arrested a 30 year old man accused of entering a Wal-mart and punching two employees at the customer service area early Saturday morning.
Quincy Crough of Garden City also faces burglary charges for stealing two cans of chew. Both employees suffered a concussion and one had to be taken to St. Catherine Hospital where she has been treated and released. Crough is in the Finney County jail on aggravated robbery and battery charges.
