Saying Goodbye
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) After 30 years at Lee Richardson Zoo Director Kathy Sexson steps down today to begin her retirement.
Sexson is unsure of what direction the zoo will take long-term. For now the zoo’s immediate goals are set.
Kristi Newland will serve as the zoo’s interim director. A reception for Sexson is scheduled from 3-5 Friday afternoon at the Finnup Center.
