Melvena Fern Rieth
She was a member of the Pierceville Federated Church in Pierceville, Kansas. She was also a member of Kansas State Hatchers Association, North American Game Bird Association & Home Demonstration Unit.
On July 19, 1953, she married Henry Rieth in Tangier, Oklahoma. He survives.

- One Daughter, Lisa Irwin of Pierceville, Kansas;
- One Son, Edward Rieth of Garden City, Kansas;
- Two Sisters, Thelma M. Wells of Goddard, Kansas, and
- Claudette (& Vern) Beavers of Pierceville, Kansas;
- One Brother, Billy D. (& Phyllis) Husband of Kingwood, Texas;
- Six Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, James F. & C.E. Husband, and three sisters, Mary B. Hutton, M. Pearl McDonald & Betty VanBuskirk.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:30pm on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Pierceville Federated Church in Pierceville, Kansas.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00pm on Sunday and 10am-Noon on Monday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Interment will be in the Pierceville Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
