Former Olympian Encourages Change to Promote Healthy Activities

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) City officials from around Southwest Kansas are in Garden City discussing issues associated with encouraging a healthier lifestyle. The Finney County Healthy Community Design Summit wants to turn the tide on a disturbing trend.

Keynote speaker and former Olympian Mark Fenton is calling on all parts of the community to find ways at getting people active again to avoid a long list of health problems.
