Slight Uptick in the Price at the Pump

(westernkansasnews.com)  You may not have thought about it, but a slight bump in gas prices can be attributed to a work stoppage.  Jim Hanni of AAA says 3,800 United Steelworkers walked off the job at nine refineries in the US.

The average price for regular gasoline in Kansas is $2.12, twelve cents below the national average.  Looking ahead at summer gas prices, Hanni believes its impossible to know for certain, but he likes where we stand right now.

The price for gas will slowly rise as refineries switch from winter to summer blend gasoline which is typically a little bit more expensive to produce.
