Maria Lorena Lopez-Chairez, 40, died Monday May 25, 2015 at St Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born August 10, 1974 in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico to parents Rafael and Sylvia (Cordova) Chairez. She married Adolfo Lopez in August 1995 at Yuma, Arizona. He survives.
She was a member of Assamblea Apostolica.
Maria Lorena was born and raised in Mexicali, Mexico and moved to Garden City in January of 1996. She worked for McDonalds for many years. Hobbies included listening to Norteno music, cooking spaghetti, and watching her children’s school and sporting events.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Antonio Cordova & Cipriana Gomez and Abelardo Chairez & Maria Cruz Fernandez.
