Community Colleges Look at Exploring Consortium Partnership

Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The man tabbed to facilitate a discussion among six community colleges in Kansas including Garden City and Dodge City aimed at potentially building a consortium in establishing a community college system is making his way through Western Kansas this week.  Dr. Brent Cejda, is Educational Administrator at the University of Nebraska.

The same concern scrapped a proposed merger between Fort Hays State and Dodge City Community College last year and that is why.

Cejda wrapped up his tour of the colleges last week and will follow up with all six schools by the end of the month.
