Scott City Takes on Issues Identified in Public Square Community Forum

Scott City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) A group of 50 met Wednesday night in Scott City to determine the problems and potential solutions in three main area during a Public Square Community Forum from the High School Commons. Linda Tilton manages Artistic Homes in town and has seen the housing crunch first hand.

Director of the Scott County Development Committee Katie Eisenhour was happy to see how many people wanted to become more deeply involved with getting a wellness, community center and to tackle housing.

The process has taken a little more than a year. Reports are many communities Public Square works with have not taken it this far.  The panel will meet again in June.
