DFA Officials Show Public Virtual Tour of Milk Processing Facility
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The opening of the new Meadowlark/Dairy Farmers of America milk processing plant in Garden City is still more than a year away, but already project leaders are giving the community an update on what is to come and why it is important.
Alan McEntee is project manager and takes us into the process of separating the milk for use.
That process involves several steps. When fully operational the facility will operate 24/7, employ 60 and bring in 80 trucks a day.
