Raise A Glass Campaign Looks to Change Ford County’s Liquor Law

Dodge City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Boot Hill Distillery has been up and running a little more than a month.  Director of Marketing/Distiller Mark Vierthaler says they like to do more than what they are doing now.

Ford County law currently states establishments can sell alcohol by the drink if thirty percent of their sales come from food.  Voters will soon decide whether to repeal the current law.

There is some push back on the campaign called “Raise A Glass, Vote Yes”. Vierthaler explains on some of the concerns he has heard.

If a change is made the responsibility rests with those that serve.
