Allen: Clock Ticking on Sporting KC Star Bond Project
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Two years ago Garden City Commissioners help create a Star Bond on the city’s eastside near Shulman Crossing. Since then then project to build a youth soccer training facility for Sporting KC has not moved forward and City Manager Matt Allen knows the deadline is fast approaching.
There could also be a request made to state officials on extending the deadline.
If nothing is done at least very little is lost from not developing the project.
