Linda Faulkner, 73, died Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Western Plains Medical Complex, Dodge City. 

She was born April 24, 1943 at Schenectady, New York, the daughter of Frederick Skinner and Betty Jean (Perkins) Dewitt. She was a graduate of Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. A Dodge City resident since 1980, moving from Wichita, she was a counselor for several area organizations as well as an ordained minister. 

She attended the Ft. Dodge Chapel at the Kansas Soldiers Home and Oasis Church in Dodge City. 

Survivors include: her son, Rick Lewis and wife Debbie, Panhandle, Texas, 2 sisters, Dee Dewitt Maltby and Sandy Dewitt Sanderson both of Salida, Colorado; 8 grandsons, Jeremy, Keith, Michael, Steven, Justin, Rick, Rusty and Tyler Lewis; 16 great grandchildren; and close friends, Larry Worcester and Vernon and Ada Bogart all Dodge City among others. 

She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Memorial Services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Oasis Church, Dodge City. Private family burial will be held at a later date in Panhandle, Texas. There will be no public viewing, cremation has taken place. 

The family suggests memorials to the Ford County Humane Society in care of Ziegler Funeral Chapel, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
