Lady Beaver girls golf looks to take strides

Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–This year’s Scott City Lady Beaver golf team will be one of the least experienced teams they’ll field over the past few years. 

Just two varsity golfers and no state qualifiers return to partake in the 2023 season. While there are only six on this year’s squad, they do return five who have at least one year of experience under their belt.

Juniors Brooklyn Escalona and Lexi Schwindt look to help lead the team this year.

Dakota Hayes is the new head coach after serving as an assistant with the girls program recently.

The season starts off in Hugoton August 31.
