Scott City tennis returns veteran group of varsity players
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–With a group of around 20 players, Scott City returns a group of varsity players that are looking to take the next step in the 2023 season. It will be their second straight year of being in Class 4A for tennis, and return three players who qualified for state last year.
Malorie Cupp is a two-time state qualifier, while Madison Roberts & Tatum Wells qualified as a doubles team last season. Kennedy Wasinger also returns as a varsity player from last season.
While the varsity doesn’t have their first match until after Labor Day, it will be a fast and furious season for Scott City.
