GARDEN CITY, KS. – Basketball season is underway in 2024 for the Garden City Broncbusters men’s and women’s squads, both battling out through the Kansas Jayhawk Conference slate in 2024.
Sports Director Cal Friedman got the chance to get to know Broncbusters’ women’s basketball guard Stevi Yancy on the first edition of “94 Feet with the Broncbusters”, a new segment dedicated to learning about some of basketball’s student athletes on and off the court.

Yancy is a sophomore guard from Raytown High School in Kansas City, MO. She is averaging over 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists going into the 2024 portion of the schedule.
“94 Feet With the Broncbusters” will air at halftime of select Garden City broadcasts on KWKR 99.9 ‘The Rock’. The Broncbusters play on Wednesdays and Saturdays until March.
