All-GWAC Football teams announced
Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–With the 2016 football season officially finished for all Great West Activities Conference teams, the All-League selections have been released.
Holcomb had the most selections on the 1st Team with 11, followed by Scott City with seven. Scott City had 13 Honorable Mentions, followed by Colby with 11 and Hugoton with eight selections.
Holcomb won their first GWAC title in 2016, followed by Scott City, Colby, Hugoton, Goodland and Ulysses. The Longhorns advanced to the Sub-State Championship game in Class 4A, Division II, while Colby, Scott City and Ulysses had Regional playoff exits.
