Man Accused of Coming After Someone with Knife, Stick Arrested
Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) Two separate verbal altercations have led to the arrest of a 37 year old man from Garden City Rocky Gomez. The first incident which wasn’t reported to police initially came on Tuesday when Gomez is accused of pulling a knife on the victim. The second occurred on Wednesday when Gomez was reported to come after the victim with a stick. That person fled the residence and called police.
A K-9 had to flush out Gomez from the residence. Police say he suffered minor injuries by refusing to cooperate with police. Gomez is likely to be charged on two counts of aggravated assault, making a criminal threat and interference with a police officer.
