Garden City, KS (westernkansasnews.com) The Lee Richardson Zoo is getting into the spirit of Earth Day planning their celebration a few days ahead of the actual event April 22nd on Wednesday. Various organizations will be on hand to teach kids some valuable lessons about what they do and how they protect our world.
Emily Sexton from the zoo mentioned the groundwater management district and others will be out.
The zoo expects a 1,000 kids for this year’s Earth Day event. It goes Wednesday from 9-2.
