Red Demon Football injury update on Foster and Williams
Dodge City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Friday nights 65-0 loss at Heights was compounded for the Red Demons when starting quarterback Beau Foster and starting receiver and backup QB Dawson Williams were knocked out with injuries.
Dodge City has received some good news on Dawson Williams, he was diagnosed with a grade one AC joint sprain and should be able to play Friday against Great Bend.
Foster’s status is a little more unclear. Foster was diagnosed with a concussion during the first quarter Friday. He has started the return to play protocol, but can’t have any contact this week. Foster’s activity is expected to increase through the week and if he remains symptom free all week he’ll play on Friday.
The Red Demons(1-2) begin conference play at home Friday against Great Bend(1-2).
