Fire destroys Garden City home

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) Wednesday night a fire destroyed a Garden City residence. At 9 p.m. the Garden City Fire Department was called to 2213 Lincoln Rd lot 26. Crews arrived at 9:06 p.m. to find a trailer fully engulfed in flames.

There was one person in the home at the time of the fire. Michael Piccone made it out of the house safely. The cause of the fire was a heating blanket.
