Dorothy Scott
Dorothy Maxine Scott, 80, passed away Friday, March 30, 2018 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center in Liberal, Kansas.
She was born July 7, 1937 at Liberal, KS, the daughter of Newton and Stella Viola Irene (Mitchell) Wyer.
She married Charles Dale Scott on February 5, 1955 at Raton, NM; he survives.
Dorothy attended Liberal High School. Dorothy enjoyed visiting with friends and family, watching Wheel of Fortune and reading. She also loved her pets, especially her Chihuahua Pogo and spoiling her grandkids!
She is also survived by Three Sons – Dennis Dean Scott and wife Dorene of Amarillo, TX, Danny Dale Scott and wife Susan of Oklahoma City, OK, Douglas Dudley Scott and wife Janine of Perryton, TX; Daughter, Lisa Lynne Schaffer and husband Shannon of Omaha, NE; Four Grandchildren – McKenzi Long, Madison Scott, Hunter Winkler, and Halton Winkler; One Great Granddaughter- Madelyn Jarrett; Three Sisters – Betty Noble, Shirley Smith, and Tammy Carr; Three Brothers- Francis Wyer, Terry Wyer, and Jackie Wyer.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother – Laverne Wyer.
Viewing will be 9:00am to service time Thursday, April 5th.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 Thursday, April 5th at the Miller Mortuary Chapel with burial to follow at the Tyrone Cemetery.
