Most of SW Kansas still in Emergency Drought

 

Garden City, KS(westernkansasnews.com) The Kansas Water Office issued End-May Climate and Drought Report Monday and most of Southwest Kansas is still struggling.

According to the report Finney, Ford, Comanch, Kiowa, Edwards, Hodgeman, Clark, Gray, Meade, Haskell, Seward, Kearny, Grant, Stevens, Hamilton, Stanton and Morton counties are all still in an emergency drought. Most of Lane, Scott, Greeley and Wichita counties are in severe drought.
