🔊 Garden City’s Ethan Fisher signs to run for Fort Hays State University

GARDEN CITY, KS – Garden City High School senior Ethan Fisher signed to run track and cross country for Fort Hays State University on Monday, January 13th.

Fisher’s accomplishments at GCHS:

Four year letter winner in cross country
Varsity track team the last four years
Voted by his peers in cross country as:
- Most improved runner
- 2x most valuable runner
Part of the regional cross country championship team in 2017
Western Athletic Conference Runner of the Year in 2019 as well as WAC Champion
During his cross country career, Ethan placed in the top 10 individually in over half the meets he ran
In track, Ethan has represented GCHS at the KU relays and qualified and medaled at the state meet in all three of his seasons
Is part of the 4×800 relay team that currently holds the school record
Ethan was part of the 2018 6A state championship 4×800 relay team
