Scott City, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City Beavers returned home on Friday to face the Goodland Cowboys for homecoming and for their district opener. It would turn out to be a happy homecoming, as the Beavers defeated the Cowboys 32-6. Scott City scored six points in each of the first three quarters, before scoring two touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and Goodland got on the board in the final period to make the final 32-6. The Beavers have now won 17 straight in the series and are 1-0 in district play.
Scott City is 2-2 on the season.
