Scott City tennis wins Hoisington Invitational

Great Bend, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–We are less than a week away from regional competition, and on Friday, several area schools made their way to Great Bend for the Hoisnington Invitational. The meet was moved from Thursday, because of the potential threat of severe weather.

Scott City would win the meet, defeating Meade by 12 points and Great Bend was third.

Scott City swept the singles titles, as Avry Noll took the No. 1 Singles title and Houston Frank won the No. 2 Singles division. Noll collected his 100th career victory during the tournament. Meade took the No. 1 Doubles title with Orvin Dyck/Samuel Lynn.
