Scott City boys win Vernon Ferguson Invitational, girls 5th

Cheney, Kan. (westernkansasnews.com)–The Scott City track team made their way to Cheney on Friday for the annual Vernon Ferguson Invitational, as they started off their second half of the season. In a meet that featured several Class 3A, and a few 4A, schools, the Beavers would see their boys take the team title, and the girls were fifth.

Scott City’s boys won the meet with 118 points, while Cheney was second with 100. 

On the girls side, Cheney won the meet with 144 points, Garden Plain was in second with 96 and Clearwater was third with 84.5 Scott City had 52.5.
