Two vehicle accident in Lane County Tuesday
Lane County, Kan.–Two men were injured just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in Lane County.
According to the report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2004 Freightliner semi driven by 63-year-old Ben. R. Fehr of Sublette was northbound on Kansas Highway 23 at 200 road, and was behind a 2019 Ford F250 pulling an anhydrous ammonia tank, driven by 32-year-old Jesse R. Beesley of Dighton.
The semi began to pass the pickup and trailer as Beesley was beginning to make a left turn on to Road 200, when Fehr struck the pickup.
Both drivers were taken to Lane County Hospital in Dighton for their injuries. The drivers were wearing seatbelts, according to the KHP report.
