Sublette man lands belly of plane at Liberal Airport
Seward County, Kan.–A Sublette man landed the belly of his aircraft safely Monday afternoon just after 1:30 p.m.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol report, a Cessna 2100 piloted by 20-year-old Braxon G. Blackwood, was coming in for landing at Liberal Mid-America Regional Airport, when he was unsure if the landing gear was deployed and landed on the belly of the aircraft on the runway.
Blackwood was not injured in the landing.
