Area teams in latest KBCA rankings

This week continues big push for sub-state seeding, as several area schools are in this weeks Kansas Basketball Coaches Association rankings.

The Liberal girls remain ranked at No. 9 in Class 6A, while the Hugoton boys are at No. 4 in Class 4A. Holcomb’s girls are third and boys are fifth in Class 3A. Class 1A, Division 1 features the Hodgeman County girls at No. 5 and the South Gray girls at No. 7, while the Meade boys are at No. 6 and Spearville is at No. 9. Class 1A, Division 2 has the Bucklin girls No. 2, Dighton girls ranked fifth and Ashland sixth, while on the boys side, Deerfield is No. 9.
