Guardrail improvement project to begin March 2 south of Dodge City
The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a guardrail improvement project on Monday, March 2, along U.S. 56, approximately half a mile west of the U.S. 56/108 Road junction, southwest of Dodge City.
The project will upgrade the guardrail at the U.S. 56/108 Road junction. Motorists should expect potential delays of up to 10 minutes. Traffic will be directed through the work zone at a reduced speed while work occurs. The work zone will be marked with signs and cones and a width restriction of 11-feet.
PSE Contractors LLC., of Wichita, is the contractor on this $343,381.90 project, which is expected to be completed by the end of May, weather permitting.
