Contstruction underway at Fleming & Spruce Street intersection

Garden City, Kan.–Starting today, construction will begin at the intersection of Fleming & Spruce Streets for a new signalization project. Improvements will include installation of a traffic signal, sidewalk ramps, and updated lane configurations.
During construction and until the signal becomes operational, the intersection will be reduced to one lane in each direction (no turn lanes) and will operate as a four-way stop. The project is expected to take approximately two months to complete.
The city apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your continued patience as they complete this street improvement.
