GARDEN CITY, Kan. (Western Kansas News) – Garden City sports director, Kolby Van Camp, sits down with the “Voice of the Wildcats,” Wyatt Thompson, to discuss the upcoming Week 0 matchup between Kansas State and Iowa State in the Aer Lingus Classic in Dublin, Ireland.
The Wildcats and the Cyclones are set to renew the hate for the 109th annual duel between the two programs in a rivalry game referred to as, “Farmageddon,” due to the strong agricultural backgrounds of each university. This is the first Aer Lingus Classic to be played between set of Top 25 ranked teams and is anticipated to be an explosive matchup to kick off the college football season. Radio coverage from the Kansas State Sports Network can be heard locally on Mix 94.5, KSKL, with kickoff at 11a Saturday, August 23.
Kolby and Wyatt record a new edition of Cat Talk Tuesday every Tuesday during the football and basketball seasons to discuss Kansas State Athletics.
