Bridge work to begin July 7 on K-156 in Finney County
The Kansas Department of Transportation will begin a bridge repair project along K-156 in Finney County on Monday, July 7, over the Pawnee River.
Traffic along K-156 will be reduced to one lane to allow bridge repair work to take place. Motorists should expect minimal delays. Temporary traffic signals will direct one-lane traffic through the work zone, and signs and cones will mark the lane reduction. The traffic signals and a 12-foot width restriction will be in effect throughout the project.
PCI Roads LLC, of Saint Michael, Minnesota, is the contractor on this $899,395.94 project that is expected to be completed by spring 2026, conditions permitting.
